What is Christmas about anyway? It amazes me that almost all Americans celebrate Christmas, but have we really thought about the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ? Does it really matter if Jesus was born of a virgin? This is the time of year we celebrate the incarnation - the time that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. This message will help you understand what the virgin birth of Jesus means for you and me today.

David is a growing boy! Here he is doing what he does best - eating. What you see on his face used to be an oreo cookie. He is 18 months old now and has the sweetest spirit. He is not much of a talker, but we did manage to get him to say a word or two for you.

Following Jesus

This is Wendy and I standing in front of the Total Surrerender Church in Bela Bela, South Africa. We were Barbarians this summer and spent 10 days working with a local church there. It was truly a life-changing experience. We followed Jesus into the harvest and were a part of His work of seeking and saving the lost in South Africa. (If you don't understand my comment about being a Barbarian, you should read Erwin McManus' book the Barbarian Way.)
